What is Involved With Forehead & Brow Lift Surgery?
There are four main ways to change the position of the brow and eyebrow area. Most commonly, I perform an endoscopic forehead lift. This is the more modern way to lift the brow, and allows me to accomplish a browlift by placing only five small incisions hidden in the hair of the scalp. For men with thinning hair there are other surgical options. How Much Does Forehead/Brow Lift Surgery Cost?
To fully understand the costs of cosmetic surgery, you must understand the guiding principles of my medical practice: Safety, Quality and a Respect for Cost. I have not designed the surgical experience to be lowest bid; rather, I want you to have an exceptionally high-quality medical experience. If this interests you, please read on. As a reference point, a recent survey of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery showed the average professional fee of forehead and browlift surgery to be $4802. Dr. Mobley's professional fee will tend to be closer to $4650. The average facility and anesthesia fees are $1775. What Are My Financing Options With Dr. Mobley?

During the first week there will be some swelling and possibly some bruising in the upper forehead or upper eyelid region (click link for example image). Approximately one week after surgery, you’ll return to have any stitches removed. Most patients are completely ready to go back out in public 10-14 days after the operation. How Painful Is Forehead/Brow lifts?
The advances in endoscopic surgery have made browlifts much less painful than in the past. Tightening of the forehead skin places some tension on those nerves so it is normal to have a headache for 2-3 days following surgery. This is alleviated by the prescription pain medications that all patients receive. When Can I Return To School Or Work?
If you do light (office) work, particularly if you work from home, you could return to these activities four to five days after the operation. If you do more physical work, seven to ten days is more appropriate. What Are The Common Risks?
Every type of surgery has risks. It’s my ethical responsibility to educate you on these risks so you can make the best possible decision for yourself while weighing these risks against the benefits of surgery. My training helps me to minimize these risks to the best of my ability, but I cannot eliminate them entirely. Common risks include loss of hair follicles near incision sites, numbness to forehead, facial nerve weakness, and asymmetry. The risks above are the most common ones that I think you should be aware of, but they are not a complete list of all possible risks. When I see you in consultation and we begin to formulate your surgical treatment plan, I’ll review with you not only these common risks but also the less likely complications that may occur.
